Sorry guys if i post this on the wrong category, here is my inquire

I have an application running on a WinCE Terminal (Unitech is the brand), the application is for Time and attendance and uses a Biometric Fingerprint Reader called Suprema, This reader has an storage and a builtin procesor, the storage to store the Fingerprint templates and the procesor performs a search in memory

The application accesses the reader and all the functions using Suprema SDK of course. my application works like a charm.

Now, here is my need:

I wonder if there is any way to read the Fingerprint memory remotly. I am looking for a way to read all the terminals from a sever and to retriee the number of templates on each one.

I've hear about sockets programming. but i don't know if fits
