>>In related news, federal government revenue (which occurs by FORCE) is at a record high :)

Force? But the government that sets taxes serves at the pleasure of the people and taxes only can be gathered if the people co-operate and don't start tossing tea in the harbor. Any minority that truly objects to contributing can band together to appoint like-minded representatives or relinquish their US passport and move somewhere that doesn't "force" you to pay tax. Apart from the Bahamas and Caymans, most of the oil-producing nations in the Middle East don't levy personal income tax, but they tend to object if you drink alcohol or ask for pork ribs and the courts can dish out lashings and beheadings if you annoy them.

And then there's this: willing to give up snowmen to avoid tax? ;-)

"... They ne'er cared for us
yet: suffer us to famish, and their store-houses
crammed with grain; make edicts for usury, to
support usurers; repeal daily any wholesome act
established against the rich, and provide more
piercing statutes daily, to chain up and restrain
the poor. If the wars eat us not up, they will; and
there's all the love they bear us.
