>>>Oh, I think you stated it perfectly there. It absolutely is proving itself! :)

>Mike, hate to tell you this, but Commonwealth Fund (which published the survey) is made up of several individuals who pushed hard for ACA (and even established a commission with the aim of doing so). Their surveys have been characterized as self-reported. Honestly, some of their ads are so rose-colored that I'm not sure any serious defender of ACA would use them as evidence.

>As far the challenge on it being a disaster - tell that to the Democratic senators who were upset in the November mid-terms by opponents who campaigned against ACA. Tell that to the estimated 4-5 million who lost their plans in the first several months of ACA. Tell that to my wife, who suffers from fibromyalgia and got jerked around for nearly a year because of narrowing networks and doctors who no longer participated in plans. Tell that to the individuals who initially received subsidies, and are now learning that the subsidy calculations were incorrect and that their refunds will either be smaller or that they'll wind up owing money.

>Lower middle and middle class citizens who had insurance to begin with have paid a heavy price for this president's vision of a legacy. That is a fact.

Where in there did you refute my point that according to polls most Americans like the ACA? I know you have a serious analytical side. There just seems to be something emotional about your stance.

Over and out on this issue. We can talk about more amiable topics. Like religion. (Kidding).

I will start a separate thread about the Super Bowl.
