>>Hi All,

>>I need a JS book advice for me. I see a MS Free Ebook Windows 8 programming with JS. I'm not sure if this's a good book for a a newcomer. May I begin with this book or should I read a pure JS book in first? If answer is second, which book?

>Thirteen years ago, when I needed to learn JS, I got the JS Bible, which is kind of official. Two years ago, when our youngest daughter decided to give up studying art and become a programmer, she started with the same book (plus the more recent edition - that one had a lot of references to Netscape 4.0). It helps a lot on the main part, namely how everything is an object and how new objects are created and how their object model is built along the way. This main difference, that classes aren't something that you have to define before creating an object, but somehow the other way around, was the main thing I needed to learn - and it was very clearly explained so even an old horse like me could understand.

Seem everyone learned JS except me there... :(
