I would like a little help regarding binding a drop down list cursor to a field in a table.

I have done several times in the past and even have other drop down lists bound to a table on the same form but my latest will not work properly.

I have been careful to make all fields involved the same type, same order, bound to the correct column, correct alias and field name, etc.

The problem is when you move the table to a record, the drop down list does not display anything. The moment you click on the control the drop down list displays the correct record in its cursor.

Occasionally I will even get error 5.

The cursor in the drop down list gets refreshed via a logical property. Various other controls set that flag when a new cursor is required.

Thank you in advance for your suggestions.
