I have a message in the Event Viewer "Windows Logs\Application" like this:

"Certificate for local system with Thumprint ... is about to expire or already expired"

It is unclear if this is a certificate message reference against the IIS certificate, a licensing on an utility or any other kind of certificate.

I have verified the expiration date on the IIS certificate and this is good until 2017.

How one would proceed to find the origin of this message?
