I'll be addressing this soon, but for now, you can simply enter the correct information manually in your application's MetaDBC table.
Regarding the empty settings for local and remote databases, is your application object's "lUseDBCMetaMgr" property set to True? If so, set it to False for now...I'll also be addressing this issue soon.
