I care about my case a bit more. There are various dangers out there and for each I've found a way to stay away, but the shoulder-height headlights glaring at me from all three mirrors remains pretty much unsolved. The only solution was to drive gradually slower and slower until the idiot in the tank would lose patience and pass me. Actually fits with my adopted principle to drive no faster than I can see - and I was rather blinded by this.

I actually wanted to hang a line of CDs in my rear window, only on the top 10cm, or at least enough bits thereof to reflect back. If they shine lower than that, no effect; higher and they get bit of their light back. But I was on the highway just about two evenings a month, so it wasn't anywhere near urgent.
