The way they decide what to educate the kids in Texas is a joke. First thing they need to figure out is that the bible is NOT a science book. (due to the rules here we shall not discuss that)... the books also promote climate change denial and downplay segregation. The Texas school board is a total mess and should be flushed down the toilet. I lived in Texas for a few years a while back - I don't think 2 weeks went by without my girlfriend at the time having to call up her kids school and complain about how stupid and incorrect some of the things they were teaching were. She finally gave up and sent the kid to a private school.
