Hadn't looked at LightSwitch for a while - I see they've opened it up a bit by allowing a HTML/WebApi stack as an alternative to the original Silverlight/WCF model which should broaden its potential and extent it life. But, all-in-all, it's I think it is still aimed at allowing programmers with limited knowledge to develop simple applications without needing a deeper understanding of the nuts and bolts involved - sort of a modern version of Access.....
