>Women secretly run the world. From world leaders we think it's men.
Hey, everyone does what they think is best for them in the given situation, and use available means to achieve their goals. Why would women be any kind of exception to that? So... can't do this, can't do that, well... use what you got. Move behind the scene, pass your ideas through a suitable figurehead, make sure he doesn't know he's one etc etc. About half of the stuff described as "woman's nature" can be written off as a reaction to their circumstances. Just like anyone's behavior changes when they get to be a low rung in a hierarchy.
> (Angela Merkel is the exception who proves the rule, and she's only about half female).
Wrong on both counts. The "exceptio probat regulam" originally meant "exception tests the rule", merely to see if it is to be added to the list of exceptions
to which the rule does not apply. As for the second point, her pictures from a nudist beach back in DDR have surfaced.
> Watch any kind of relationship and tell me the man is the boss.
Well in my case we're equals, no bosses. We're as democratic as it gets. As Ursula le Guin once put it, it's a "mutual assignment of responsibilities". The last guy who asked me "well who's the boss in your house" got a short but caustic tirade about imposing a form of government into my family, how dare he.
