Alejandro,

I can second the WinDev choice. I have been working in it for a few years and quite simply it blows VFP away. It does everything VFP can do, and in a similar way + syntax, but 100 x better, faster, simpler. Simply awesome product. Ignore the marketing brochures - look at the feature set. I have written quite a bit about it in this thread with screenshots etc. Thread ID: 1563218

>>Hi Alejandro,

>>IMHI it definitely looks like the kind of app for Windev. As you may be aware, this not a big shop. But :
>>1- in its own field, it is really a highly regarded here as a highly productive environment. It is an established leader in its field in France and has grown over the years a decent international user base,
>>2- they are committed to providing support to their customer base ie "business solution developers".
>>
>>I reckon that you should investigate their offering on its own merits, not on their questionable marketing material, which I feel is still a bit amateur from an int'l pov. But do not be fooled, these techies have a very COMPREHENSIVE offering including workstation software à la fox - it used to be sub-VFP in terms of functionality and speed, that has clearly reversed - and web/mobile solution. I would not comment about the latest.
>>
>>Most certainly worth an evaluation, especially from Latin America, which they target specifically as a market development. They have, as French southerners - near the border ... - a specific interest in the Spanish speaking world:
