Thierry, re VFP Compiler:

>>- did you notice a difference in performance / execution time?

No visible performance difference. Theoretically the deep obfuscation/decomposition could make a difference in complex expressions in tight loops. The author says that simple expressions can be quicker since some interpreter overhead is eliminated.

Interestingly, you can inline C++ or Assembly right into your VFP prg files and it gets inlined into the dll which is extremely efficient

>>- did you test the compilation into COM object?

No. Author says it works, though. If interested- there's a working demo, download and try it out...
"... They ne'er cared for us
yet: suffer us to famish, and their store-houses
crammed with grain; make edicts for usury, to
support usurers; repeal daily any wholesome act
established against the rich, and provide more
piercing statutes daily, to chain up and restrain
the poor. If the wars eat us not up, they will; and
there's all the love they bear us.
