Browsers are starting to no longer support SSL 3.0 (or falling back to it):
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/POODLEhttps://blog.mozilla.org/security/2014/10/14/the-poodle-attack-and-the-end-of-ssl-3-0/So if those servers use SSL 3.0 rather than something more secure, some browsers will not be able to connect securely to them.
