Bill, you are too smart a guy to make an analogy like that.

There were many justifications for the Iraqi war, though I'll acknowledge the actual ground game was incompetent and led to far too many losses of life. But this "had we listened to Ted, the sole voice of reason" is pure 20-20 hindsight.
