I don't know what the Canadians are thankful for, but some of us more cynical Brits celebrate Thanksgiving on July 4th.....the less cynical ones have a national day of mourning for the lost colony.

Incidently, not all citizens of the USA celebrate Thanksgiving. The Native Americans do not and are planning a counter-thanksgiving parade/demonstration in Plymouth tomorrow.
