Indeed. This is a hosted server and I thought it was Windows 2008 but on checking I see it is just called "Windows Server Standard, 2007 release, with SP2". If I remember correctly the hosting service told me it was Windows 2008 but I am not sure now what it is? My VFP app returns 6 for OS() function. Anyway, the problem exists and, according to the discussion, can be fixed by uninstalling the mentioned update.
