I am creating a data entry screen for a event planning client to enter their Vendor data and the point of contacts for those vendors.

The basic table layout is vendor.dbf, vendor_cat (vendory category i.e. photographer, wedding cake baker etc).

1. How do I setup the combo box to populate the choices from the vendor_cat table? I can add a record but when I goto the next Vendor record, the last vendor category I selected still appears. If there is anoher vendor record, then that particular vendor category should appear or if they did not select a vendor category, it should goto the top of the table and allow them to make a selection.

I am using local_views. Thought about using a parameterized view as well.
