Yes. I that populated just fine. I had it setup as teh control source already, just fat fingered the v_vendorsssssssss (with an S ) lol...thanks...

The vendor table has a foreign key that should be populated with the primary key of the category once a category is selected AND the user saves the record.

I thought about using a para view on the category view but that wouldn't work for every subsequent time the user goes in after they enter a records.

For example, if the user goes in and scrolls through all their vendors, how do i populate the category propely to reflect the FK in the Vendors table matching the pK in the category table. ( apologies upfront for annnny cofusion I may cause). I'm even confusing myself right now..lol
