Hi Bonnie,
VMWare and Hyper-V are "one-at-a-time" -- or were when I had to google up a boot changer that let's me switch between having hyper-v set on, and not. I don't have the original reference, but it did work, and should be findable. It has to do (abstractly and imprecisely speaking) with who owns the hardware interrupt built into the CPU (the one that has to be turned on in the bios for hyper-v to work).
