Yes Hilmar, you are correct. Here's the full code...I apologize, i haven't had my cup of Joe this am ....but it's brewing ....

This.Column1.FullNameText.ControlSource = ALLTRIM(v_pocs.poc_lname) + " " + ALLTRIM(v_pocs.poc_fname)

This code is in the Init method of the grid
