Hi Bonnie,

that's the command. What I found was a way to create an additional boot type, which shows on loading the OS, that allows you to choose whether you want to use hyper-v or not, each time you reboot. The default is left at hyper-v, but you always have to choice to pick the other boot option.

I don't have the original reference, but it did work, and should be findable. It has to do (abstractly and imprecisely speaking) with who owns the hardware interrupt built into the CPU (the one that has to be turned on in the bios for hyper-v to work).

>>>That said, what I've been meaning to play with for the last few months, but never seem to find the time, is to take the XAML I used when I wrote a little "test" Windows Store App several months ago, and see how much that XAML would need tweaking for use in Xamarin. My goal was to have an app for iOS and Android too, but I started with Windows Store because I could use a XAML Designer. Unfortunately, I cannot do Windows Phone at the moment until I figure out how to get around the Hyper-V requirement (we use VMWare and the two are incompatible on the same machine, AFAIK).

>>>Anyway, I think I will try playing with that XAML this weekend and see where it gets me ....
