Adapter. Introduced in VFP 8. A class approach to something like a view.
In my eyes, It's much better then view, since a change of a view needs a change of the database (and bloats the database, by the way) while a CA change is just like a patch to the code. It also allows better control of a lot of things related to data gathering / insert / update and so on.
