Hi Bonnie, I'm surprised web apps are not your bag I thought everything was web based in the states , as for playing with cameras I'm sure its much more fun than Xamarin ? Having watched a short video on Xamarin on MS Academy I'm no so sure about it being the right tool for the job, to make a build for iOS for instance you have to hook up a Mac to your PC ditto Android and as Viv pointed out there are platform specific differences when building forms for instance - I naively thought Xamarin took care of all that stuff - thanks for your interest
