In VFP app I use an XML file (created daily from a SQL table). I am/was considering replacing XML file with a DB view. Based on your questions, I "read" that it may not be a good approach.

>>Hi,
>>Can I create a view (dynamically) from C# code? Here is a simple example:
>>DB has a table Equipment with the following columns:
>>Eq_ID Char(15)
>>Eq_Desc Char(40)
>>IncInView Bit

>>TIA for any help.
