It's simple testing to ensure there are no severe failures. Pretty much it means:

- Does the application launch
- Does feature a seem to do what it's supposed to do
- How about feature b, c, d, etc




>Can anyone describe what is related into a Smoke Tests? I have seen a location using that terminology and was wondering if this is just to represent a first level basic tests.
