This is a pet peeve of mine - and I'm not criticizing you personally because so many people do it.

I don't like seeing selections leaked/communicated when the call for speakers hasn't ended. Several places do it and I've given some of them a hard time for doing so. For all of the nice informality of a Saturday event that we all want to retain, there are areas where community events should take a few more pages out of the books of professional conferences.
