Do you EVER stop promoting yourself? You have plenty of respect here already without hammering in every nail. "Who else is going to the next Summit?" "I was at Microsoft and grabbed a Coke from the free beverage refrigerator." (Not exact words tut I think they capture the essence). Here are more or less exact words from the other day, an unsolicited response to KG's post about an upcoming Code Camp in Philly. "I can't be there because I will be speaking at the Boise Code Camp that day." Jeez.

>Like it or not, I'll be speaking. See here. http://boisecodecamp.org/speakers
>
>>This is a pet peeve of mine - and I'm not criticizing you personally because so many people do it.
>>
>>I don't like seeing selections leaked/communicated when the call for speakers hasn't ended. Several places do it and I've given some of them a hard time for doing so. For all of the nice informality of a Saturday event that we all want to retain, there are areas where community events should take a few more pages out of the books of professional conferences.
