"the 32-bit versions work beautifully on everything up to Windows 10 and you get to use all the VFPX UI features."

As much as I am starting to move new dev to a brand-new OS-agnostic python platform, I certainly look forward to push good ol' VFP into this century. My current take includes defox+molebox as a delivery mechanism. I have no strong concern for software protection. The issue is essentially all about "zero-install" app delivery. I am however still interested by the VFP compiler (32 bit version) and any trick to maintain a decent Windows User experience.

I did struggle to run a test though on my dev platform. I have not been in ownership and use of a C compiler for over 15 years (last millenium). I'd be glad to make another try of the baiyujia tool but essentially wish a barebone free C compiler for running such a crash-test.

What C compiler would you recommend for such an experiment? I'd be glad to spare my old XP dev box, the misery of a massive invasion of MS *ware of little use. My last use of a C compiler was Watcom stuff to produce a host of flls in 92 with the K&R book on my young thighs... So bear with my incompetencies :)
