X rays like radioctivity is a probability. More exposition - greater risk. To be counted on a lifespan. Basic math. We get neutral lessons on that. Nobody was mentioning the big piles from the uranium mines nearby But it's not that tricky to count one and one.
But in the end this is all superflous. Somebody come up last time, that the biggest influence in cancer is - chance. One of the four neutrinos that hit during your lifespan is enough.
