>You know who was interesting was Jeff Withey. I remember watching his first minutes in his first KU game and thought he wasn't going to make it. And now he's in the NBA. Ok, the Pelicans and all, but that was quite the gaining confidence and all at KU.

I loved watching Withey. Unfortunately, when I think of Withey, I think of the very disappointing end in 2013. After the big run in 2012 where they went to the finals, I was hoping that 2013 would be the year that Withey would be able to cut down the nets. 2013 turned out to be an up and down year. They relied too much on McLemore, and it hurt them in the end. They blew the big lead against Michigan in the Sweet 16 game and lost.

As much as I like Bell Self as a coach, I'm seeing a big crack in the foundation at KU. Too much street ball and not enough fundamentals. Too many one-and-done players and no building of chemistry. Then I look at Kentucky. As much as I've always rooted against Calapari, I'm beginning to see that he has some soft skills that Self doesn't have. KU once again has too many cracks - they're too vulnerable - and I can see them losing in the 2nd round. Truthfully, there are about 4 teams in the Big 12 Tourney that could beat KU week after next (Iowa State, Oklahoma, West Virginia, and even Baylor)
