Hi,

I am setting up programs on a new computer (Windows 7 Professional). I just enabled IIS 7.5. Now I need to create a Site for my product (ASP.NET project) that I will use for testing and for demonstrations to prospective customers.
The IIS has Default Web Site. I can stop the Default Web Site and create my application Site and set it to Port 80. Or leave the Default Web Site (on Port 80) and set up my application Site to work on Port (e.g.) 8080.
Is there a practical/technical reason for leaving the Default Web Site running?
