64 bit is not all it's cracked up to be.

Did they properly handle key sizes? how ints are stored? If they changed those, then you need to convert all your tables and reindex and you won't be able to access the data from 32 bit apps. Merely moving to 64 bits doesn't mean you can get tables bigger than 2 Gig. And at that point, the advantages of 64 bit are questionable.

If they decompiled the VFP.exe and built their compiler, they've done it illegally. Microsoft still owns the copyrights.

Yes, C can be decompiled. Anything can be reversed engineered. In the early days of the PC, Panasonic reverse decompile the IBM BIOS and was sued over it. IBM won in court.
