Thanks for asking.
Well, I was lucky. No one in the group had ever used SSRS before, so most of the people were impressed with it and the questions were elemental.

It's amazing how such a powerful tool - and a free one at that- stays under the radar that way.

I started out with a simple report using a .dbf, and the wizard, did some more complex reports with SQL Server data without the wizard and then shifted to different deployments, including running a report from a desktop app with no server, from a desktop app using a report server, and from a web site using a report server.
I just brushed on things like report parts, charts, indicators, gauges, etc.
My talk ran about 90 minutes.

It was just an introduction but everyone seemed to understand the tool's potential.
Several people said they'd download it and start using it.
I've been corresponding with one of them who's done a report but is having trouble getting his report server started. The documentation on setting up the report server on a local machine is sketchy.
I had a hard time with it myself. I just kept futzing till it worked, so I'm not much help.
Do you have any good links?
Anyone who does not go overboard- deserves to.
