I think we also agree that VFP's fate was adjourned for years by a handful of dedicated people inside MS. MS's VFP people also punched well above their weight technically, initially delivering VFP3 whose amazing functional achievement was unappreciated by most of the IT world and increasingly is forgotten by VFPers as well.
