>Hi all, I'm currently testing a WCF service on my local LAN and would like to try accessing it over the Web, I've created a firewall rule which allows inbound traffic to my WCF port and forwarded any traffic via my router to my hosting server but I can't connect ( timeouts etc... ), my server is Windows 2013 and the service is hosted in IIS - what do I have to do to achieve this ? I even turned the firewall off completely but it makes no difference.

You usually have two firewalls to deal with. The outside firewall on your router - it needs to pass any traffic on the specific port to the correct IP address (and port). Windows also has its own firewall that you will need to open up (this will normally be open on a web server for ports 80 and 443, but if your service is listening on another port you'll need to fix it).
