Just saw a message on Facebook that Mike Beane has passed. Here's the message she posted:

Hello,

This is Mike's daughter Allie. Sadly this past Thursday my dad passed away. He will be greatly missed and has left a void that cannot be filled. He is truly the best man I've ever known. His service will be held on Saturday, March 28 at Barr funeral home in Chicago, Illinois. The address is 6222 N. Broadway. It would be helpful if anyone planning on attending could text or call me at 773-329-1333 just so we can accommodate everyone properly. Thank you.
