I would make a copy of the table into the temp folder
Zap o_static and try it

I, as Ken did, also was a Rettig fan and used TRO in the preMicrosoft days.
If I remember correctly, this file is sortof a resource file remembering stuff and can be zapped.

if I am wrong, restore fom the temp\ backupfile and persue other options
