What about the free version for a single developer about to retire. I want my brain to stay nimble - if that is possible.
Can't afford to pay $$$ for a dev platform just to dabble.
Thanks

>I'm actually so tired of this endless fixation on the marketing BS. Who cares. Has any one of the complainers ever wondered whether perhaps PC Soft keep doing it because they get more positive feedback about it than negative feedback? That it might actually be achieving the objectives of their marketing department? Ever consider that? Who knows?

>There are a handful of complainers but the rest of the community say nothing. And yet PC Soft count many leading companies as their clients as well as tens of thousands of smaller dev-shops. The product is awesome and, imho, the fastest route for VFP programmers to move into an incredible RAD environment familiar of VFP style project development.

>For me, working with WinDev has brought back the excitement I remember of using dBase, Clipper, VFP 2.6, and VFP 3. It's become fun to develop new things and experiment with new tech and ideas easily. They claim you will be 10x faster ... OK, maybe only if you come from C background :) But from VFP background I am sure you will be 5x faster. And I have hardly even delved into what it all offers truth be told.
