>I hope you don't mind if i disagree with you on that one. Dr. Dave Fulton was a professor at a Ohio university and had some of his star students write the code for foxbase. then they created a Mac version which also worked with DOS dbf files (which dBase for Mac did NOT). then they ported the UI to dos and added object orientation and named it foxpro.
>no stealing involved.
>If you write a poem in english does not mean you stole from Shakespeare even if you use the same words (but in different order :-)

They used different brains, different pens but poems like same... :)
I think doesn't matter if source codes are different. Foxbase commands same with dbase commands, results same with dbase results... Just splash screens are different, faster and a few some extra commands added; @xx,yy promt (it was my favorite), @box, etc...

>btw I really like your city! It's one of the most beautiful places I have ever been. My daughter worked there for a year

Thank you but. I don't like.

Depends which company your daughter worked and which county she lived.

There are 17 millions people, terrible traffic, metro is almost none, almost everywhere is building, so expensive for a developing country city. I have a friend at Toronto, he pays like my Istanbul flat after add extras (He doesn't pay extra money for water, electricity and maintenance). Worst part is if you used, "minibus". I don't think so there is a system on this planet like minibus... I hate it... :(
