SSD is an other name for Backup. I've started with data recavery on SD cards and USB dongles so I saw the problem raising. Todays SSD with scrambling etc you have no chance to recover anything from the flash. You simply can not deside if 01 is a one or the whole thing inverted or something else the controler stores in a table nobody (literally) knows.
VSS was fine working in a group in then 90s. Then we stuck to it because we had other things to do. But now I move away and use git. It's much more sophisticated baut one need a differned mindset for it.
