We're running out of options here. Try the following, since it works on my machine and it is publicly available. Then we can narrow it down to your ftp site or your machine. Do this in a NEW project.

With Inet1
  .URL = "ftp://ftp.microsoft.com"
  .UserName = "anonymous"
  .Password = "cairnsj@dfo-mpo.gc.ca"
  .Execute , "get disclaimer.txt c:\test.tst"
End With

You can use my email address above if you want. It doesn't matter. The above works on my machine and it should on yours.

If that doesn't work, and you can ftp to the same place from the command-line, than the problem is with your machine. I'd say your Inet control is corrupt or something.
