“MS-DOS Mobile allows us to look proudly back, while at the same time moving us defiantly forwards.”
LOL. Ironically the latest interface design is increasingly plain, dropping shading and Aero coolness for stark simplicity. If not for the garish colors and limited fonts, a decent FP2.0 app isn't so dissimilar from a "cool" app I was shown last week with the bright young authors claiming ownership of the simplicity.
"... They ne'er cared for us
yet: suffer us to famish, and their store-houses
crammed with grain; make edicts for usury, to
support usurers; repeal daily any wholesome act
established against the rich, and provide more
piercing statutes daily, to chain up and restrain
the poor. If the wars eat us not up, they will; and
there's all the love they bear us."
