LOL. That medical practice involves so much uncertainty has caused consternation here before. I try to tell people that medicine is a combination of art and science but that most people get their understanding of those around the wrong way- but I'm not sure everybody gets that either.
Would be interested to hear what you think of "House of God." Behind the cynicism there are definite truths, such as the concept of Masterly Inactivity. Definitely, 100% valid but almost impossible in today's litigious world.
