I created a new project with just a main.prg that has a messagebox message. It did compile and it runs.

Going back to the original... I copied a previous saved version of the program and tried to compile it.
In the taskbar (where you normally get the progress of how the compile is going)... I get a message "Build project Form mixwork" (mixwork is the name of the project). When I get that message I get the hourglass and VFP is hung up. I then have to manually stop VFP from running to get out of there.

Incidentally, the previous, saved copy of the project compiles without problem on my laptop.
