I only hope you get well paid for such requirements.

This is nothing then a pain because you will reinvent wheel.

But be relaxed. It's only the second worst scenario, the worst is variables declared and resolved via macros substitution.

XML is basically hierachical structure with burried crosslinks I have no idea how to do such stuff with arrays.
The only chance you have is to use an array for the first level, place objects in it and then go ahead with objects. :)
