A DBA asked me (in email) what are the "character set, CPU, and memory" requirements for SQL Server for my VFP 9 application. I need help in replying and sounding professional :).
1 Usually when I install SQL Server Express on customers' servers (where they don't have a DBA) I leave all defaults. Which means, what "character set" am I using?
2 I never specify CPU because the VM servers customers built is sufficient for running SQL Server 2008 Express. What should I indicate as a minimum CPU?
3 SQL Server Express uses only 1GB of RAM on the server. Would it be correct to say that "1GB of RAM is the memory requirement"?

TIA
