As I wrote in my previous post below, I have the MS Web Browser control on a form that we use for Bing Maps. On certain systems, (I noticed 3 of them just today) instead of opening the form (with the control on it), it prompts for OCX file. Then it errors out.

So The Web Browser being part of IE, could the reason for it not loading (and prompting for an OCX instead), on certain systems, since couple months ago, be because of possible recent IE updates? - Such as MS blocking access to it, for tighter security?

Is there a IE setting that could rectify this?.

I did a search and read somewhere here, that setting the Silent = .T. helped in certain situations.
Now where is the Silent settings for IE ?

Has anybody else seen this?

Thanks
Cyrus
