Hi Peter:

I don't see that VFP team didn't implemented the RFC when importing. If you double-quote your data, VFP can import it ok.

The real problem is that the implementation is ugly, because one expects that when export 'something "like this" ' VFP automatically do the conversions to get 'something ""like this"" ', but don't do that.

In the same way, one expects that when you import 'something ""like this"" ' VFP get back 'something "like this" '

So yes, I agree it's ugly.
