I have used the Remote View Wizard to create a view named ORGANIZATION to a table ORGANIZATION in an Access97 MDB file.

That worked. I can say USE ORGANIZATION and browse the table.

Now I want to make this view Updateable. However, then I say MODIFY VIEW ORGANIZATION I get a syntax error without any more detail.

What could be wrong here. It is the spaces in the field names of the original table?

Is there some other way to make this view updateable without MODIFY VIEW?
